THE BITE
Offshore/Near shore: August 22, 2011
The king mackerel continue to be hit or miss, but the larger spanish continue to hold strong. The amberjack have been at all of their usual spots and eager to work out the forearms. The flounder fishing has been great with plenty of keeper flatties. Mixed in have been some near shore black seabass and triggers to go with them. We've caught some really big sea bass out in the 115ft of water as well as some grouper. The wahoo bite has been great.
Thanks, Capt Chesson |
